Growing up:
Taylor Momsen lives with her parents Michael and Collete Momsen in Potomac, Maryland along with her younger sister Sloane Momsen who too is into acting.

Career:
Acting happened to Momsen when she was just three, and did a nationwide campaign for Shake ‘N’ Bake followed by a role in The Prophet’s Game and How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000).

She acted in the movies Hansel & Gretel and Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams, playing lead roles in both of them. In 2006 came the film ‘Saving Shiloh’ followed by Underdog the next year.

After a hiatus of three years from her earlier two movies, she got a lead role in Misconceptions but the project was shelved later.
On the music front, Momsen recorded "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and "One Small Voice" for the album School's Out! Christmas in 2002
In 2008 when she was just fourteen, Momsen signed up with IMG Models

She is currently enacting the role of Jenny Humphrey in the CW network, hit show, Gossip Girl
